Barkin Good Bubbles Bacon Scented

We have a very active pup and I was looking for something else to entertain him with -- another dog owner had animal-safe bubbles and I wanted to try them for our guy. I used to love blowing bubbles as a kid and thought it would be great fun for us both.

The good: the package arrived well-wrapped. If you've ever bought bubbles for kids, you know how sometimes the lids leak. Not so with Barkin Good Bubbles. The lid was on properly and the bottle was taped round with plastic. My puppy didn't know what to do with them at first, but evidently caught a whiff of bacon and started going after them. He is a GSP so he's always very close to me -- we'll have to work on getting him to be at a distance so he can chase them! It's too cold to be outside just now, so we'll see what we can do indoors. Speaking of that, these bubbles don't leave the floor sticky or slick like soap bubbles. And them being non-toxic is great as well.

The not so good: a minor thing and maybe it's me, but getting the bubbles to actually come out of the wand is hit or miss. As I indicated, I haven't blown bubbles in years, so maybe I'm out of practice, but I struggle to sometimes get even one bubble to come out of the double-holed wand. I've flipped it over and around and still get either no bubbles at all, one bubble, or the occasional several bubbles at once.
